How it works

Install
Copy one file —
AnotherPerspective_SafeZones.dctl— into the DaVinci Resolve LUT folder and click Update Lists.Apply
Put an Adjustment Clip on the top track and drop the DCTL effect on it. Choose platform, mode and phone.
Design, then disable
Build your titles and graphics inside the safe area. Disable the Adjustment Clip before rendering — the overlay never reaches your export.

FAQ
Will the overlay end up in my export?
Only if you leave it on. Disable the Adjustment Clip (shortcut D) before rendering.
Does it work with DaVinci Resolve free?
DCTL plugins require Resolve Studio. With the free version use the PNG overlays included in the package: drop them on the top track and disable the track before exporting.
How accurate are the measurements?
Official ads margins come from the platforms' own specs. Organic safe areas are computed from the position of every interface element on a modern phone; apps update their UI often, so check this page for updated versions.
Why are the organic areas larger than most templates?
Most templates reuse the ads margins, which reserve space for call-to-action buttons that organic posts don't have. That wastes up to a third of the frame.
