A narrative film is the purest form of what we do. No product to show, no feature to explain: only characters, a conflict and a point of view. It is also where we learn the most, and that learning ends up in every commercial and corporate film we make.
We produce short films and narrative projects in Milan and wherever the story needs to be shot, handling writing, direction, cinematography, editing, color grading and sound design with our own crew. Some are independent productions; others are commissioned by brands that want to be associated with a story rather than interrupt one.
What we produce
Short fiction films, narrative extracts and proof-of-concept pieces for longer projects. Branded narrative films, where a company funds a story that carries its values without turning into an advertisement. Festival cuts and online versions of the same film, delivered in the formats each platform expects.
Every project starts with a treatment we write together. If you already have a script, we read it as filmmakers first and as producers second: what it needs on set, how many days, which locations, and where the budget makes the difference on screen.
How we work
A small, recurring crew that has shot together for years, which is the reason our sets are quiet and fast. Pre-production is where we spend the time: casting, location scouting, shot lists and a schedule that protects the scenes that matter. On set we direct actors and non-actors with the same care, because a documentary face and a written line often share the same frame.
Post-production is in-house: editing, color grading, visual effects and sound design are done by the people who were on set, not handed to a vendor who was not.
Frequently asked questions
Do you produce films for brands or only independent projects?
Both. A branded narrative film follows the same rules as an independent one: a real story first, the brand as a presence rather than a message. That is what makes it watchable, and shareable.
Can you shoot outside Milan?
Yes. We have shot in Italy, in London and in the United States. The crew travels light and works with local fixers when a production needs them.
How long does a short film take?
From treatment to final cut, usually two to four months, depending on writing, casting and the number of shooting days. We give you a real calendar at the end of pre-production, not before.
