Marketing & Social Strategy
A film without a plan is an expense. A plan without a film is a document. We do both.
Most video briefs we receive hide a marketing question: who are we talking to, what do we want them to do, and where will they see this. We answer it before writing a script, and for many clients that work becomes the marketing plan itself.
Social channels need the same thinking. A social channel is a publication: it needs an editorial line, formats that repeat and a production rhythm that can be sustained. We design social media strategies and editorial plans for companies that want to build an audience rather than rent one, and we produce the video content those plans need.
Our team includes people who specialise in marketing and social media strategy, and the service is usually included in our production packages. It is also available on its own, for companies that need a clear plan before deciding what to produce.
What we deliver
For marketing: a positioning and messaging framework, what the company stands for, said in a way that survives a thirty-second video and a two-hour meeting. A channel plan that says where each message lives, from the website to LinkedIn to events. A measurement plan: what we will look at to know it worked.
For social media: a channel strategy that says which platforms deserve effort and which do not, based on where your customers actually are. A set of recurring formats designed for video: founder talks, product moments, customer stories, behind the scenes, event recaps. An editorial calendar with frequency, owners and assets, and production guidelines so that content shot by your team looks like content shot by ours.
The deliverable is a working document and a workshop with your team, not a slide deck to be admired.
How we work
We start with what you already have: current materials, channels, numbers and the competitors you actually lose deals to, including what they publish on social media. Then a short series of sessions with the people who sell and the people who decide, because the plan has to be theirs. We prototype two or three social formats with real content before committing to the calendar, because a format that looks good on paper often dies on the feed.
When the plan leads to production, the same team follows it through: films, campaigns and a shooting day every month or quarter that feeds the social calendar, all built on the strategy instead of beside it. If you prefer to produce internally, we set up an in-house studio and train your team.
Frequently asked questions
Is the plan included when we produce videos with you?
Usually yes. The strategic work, for marketing and for social media, is part of how we prepare a production. For a stand-alone plan without production we quote it separately.
Who is it for?
Companies that need to communicate a change, a launch or a new market, and do not have an internal marketing team, or have one that needs an outside view.
Do you manage our social accounts?
We design the strategy and produce the content. Publishing and community management can be done by your team with our guidelines, or arranged with a partner when needed.
Which platforms do you cover?
LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and Facebook, chosen case by case. For most B2B companies in Italy LinkedIn and YouTube come first.
How long does it take?
Three to five weeks from kick-off to the final document, depending on how many people we need to involve.
